The world’s largest estate agency celebrates German launch

by Mar 21, 2023Keller Williams News

With the UK arm of Keller Williams committed to empowering one thousand people over the next three years to become ‘Millionaire Real Estate Agents’, its international counterparts have just shared the launch of Keller Williams (KW) in Germany. KW are the world’s largest real estate franchise by number of agents across the globe.

In the UK KW have successfully supported nearly 400 self-employed business owners to launch and grow their own real estate agencies, enabled the sale of 13% more homes than in 2021 and supported twelve localised hubs known as ‘Market Centres’ and ‘Business Centres’ across the country in 2022. The KW model is a franchise offering based around country specific master franchisees developing a regionalised franchise model using ‘market centres’ as local hubs to empower, motivate and train licenced local individuals to build businesses. Here in the UK, KW launched in 2017 under the leadership of Ben Taylor – a real estate industry professional with approaching thirty years of experience. Since its launch the UK business has gone on to challenge the conservative estate agency industry at its core, inviting those with no previous real estate experience to open their own business and fully support each step of the way.

Now the global real estate players have partnered with Regional Operating Partner Swen Nicolaus who joins the franchise network with over twenty years’ experience of leadership positions both in finance and real estate to launch in Germany. Nicolaus has held positions with firms such as J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank and Funding Circle here in the UK. Nicolaus is on track to open Germany’s first KW market centre in Q2.

“We are delighted to be able to bring the most successful broker platform in the world to Europe’s most successful and largest economy,” said Nicolaus. “With Keller Williams, the spotlight is always on the entrepreneurial realtor.”

Taylor, the UK Operating Partner, shares “All of us here at KWUK are excited to welcome our German colleagues to the Keller Williams family. As a business which is built upon empowering one another, sharing successes, and leveraging the power of our network the launch of KW Germany is an exciting time for us all. I recently met Swen during the KW Family Reunion in California and look forward to seeing the success he and his team build in Germany”.

As an ambitious entrepreneurial driven business KWUK is currently on track to see 500 self-employed business owners being powered through their local hubs across the UK this year – ranging from single mothers, University drop-outs, those rebelling from corporate livelihoods and everyone in between. Given its strong focus on equality, diversity and inclusion KWUK prides itself on being the UK’s most diverse and empowered collective of estate agents.

Those considering an entrepreneurial life or chance to change industries are encouraged to reach out to their nearest market centre by visiting lifebydesign.uk . Here in the UK KW have plans to open market centres in Manchester, Birmingham and Newcastle over the coming months.
