Why rent this home?
If you are looking for a modern apartment with two large, equal sized bedrooms then this one is for you.
Redesigned in 2011, this apartment not only has exceptional bedroom sizes, but the open-plan kitchen/living area stands at an impressive 291 sq. ft (approx.).
The modern kitchen has space a gas hob and electric oven as well as space for a undercounter fridge and washing machine.
The master bedroom is a good size and shape meaning plenty of room for a large bed and wardrobes. The second bedroom is practically identical in size but has an access cupboard meaning ever so slightly less floor and wall space. It is, however, larger than the average sized second bedroom.
The bathroom is fully tiled around the bath, has an overhead shower, tiled floor and all-important window.
Parking is provided by an allocated space. Offered unfurnished and available from late December, this lovely home is walking distance to Leighton Buzzard High Street and businesses on Grove Road.
More about the location...
Leighton Buzzard is a town in Bedfordshire, England, near the Chiltern Hills and lying between Luton and Milton Keynes. It adjoins Linslade and the name Leighton Linslade is sometimes used to refer to the combination of the two towns.
Leighton Buzzard is close to the M1 motorway and A5 road, and is served by Southern and West Midlands Trains services on the West Coast Main Line railway at Leighton Buzzard railway station (in Linslade). The Grand Union Canal runs through the town, alongside the River Ouzel. Leighton Buzzard is served by the F70 bus route, operated by Arriva Shires & Essex, which provides a direct Bus rapid transit service to Luton via the Luton to Dunstable Busway, with an onward connection to Luton Airport.
One of the local quarries was used in the Hamunaptra scene in The Mummy Returns and more recently a scene for The Da Vinci Code.
In addition, the town and surrounding area is referenced in Mary Norton's popular series, The Borrowers. It is mentioned in Saki's short story "The Secret Sin of Septimus Brope".
