Andrew Benn is a property industry executive with over 30 years’ experience operating at all levels and disciplines within retail estate agency, responsible for running businesses of up to 600 colleagues.
In 1987, Andrew began his career as a sales agent with Jackson Property Services, before moving after 4 years to Countrywide, at the time the largest estate agency group in the UK. This is where he spent the next 19 years, the first 10 working his way up to subsidiary managing director, the second 9, doubling the size and profitability of his business.
In 2011, Andrew moved to Spicerhaart as managing director for lettings and quickly grew the lettings business, in recognition of his contribution to the group, he was invited to the main board in 2013. By mid 2018, the lettings business had grown 300% and become the most profitable part of the group, with a reputation for excellence and performance.
He is well-regarded within the industry and has built a firm reputation based on his strong values of Integrity, professionalism and Consistency, developing long-standing mutually beneficial relationships and driving success.
Strategically robust, Andrew has been part of 3 major strategic reviews, being a key participant in 2 of the 3 occasions, he understands that business must create value for all stakeholders and creates strategically aligned models with clear delivery standards based on those principles.
Out of work, Andrew has a wide-ranging social group and particularly enjoys spending his time skiing or sailing as opposed to lying on a beach.
