Why buy this home?

Located at the bottom of a quiet no-through lane is this imposing executive home which has been superbly restored.

One of the benefits of this location is the amount of off-road parking available. The block paved driveway sweeps along the front of the house and opens up to a courtyard with both a double garage with a remote controlled electric roller door, and secluded parking for multiple cars. There is even the potential to install gates at the beginning of the driveway should you wish.

The entrance is fitting for a property of this stature - a larger than average black front doors which leads you into the hallway which is has a grey Porcelanosa tiled floor. These tiles lead through to both the cloakroom, which is also fully tiled on the walls and has white Porcelanosa sanitary ware, and the impressive kitchen/dining/family room.

A must-have in modern executive homes, the kitchen/dining/family is the showpiece of this house. Standing at an impressive 31 foot long (approx.) with bi-fold doors that lead on to the rear garden, it is the ultimate entertaining area. The kitchen itself has cream Shaker style designer solid wood units and doors, complimented by granite worktops and splashback. The Rangemaster oven means you can easily cater for the whole family at celebration events, with the American-style fridge/freezer the perfect accompaniment. There is also an integrated AEG dishwasher. One example of the attention to detail in this home is the beautiful white Villeroy & Boch ceramic sink, which when standing at you get a glimpse of the grandeur of the rear garden. The utility room has matching units and doors to the kitchen, but instead is fitted with solid oak worktops and splashback. There is plumbing and space for both a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a cupboard with a large hot water tank and central heating controls for the house. The entirety of the downstairs is underfloor heating, whilst the first floor is hot water fired radiators which are powered by an impressive Mitsubishi air source heat pump which in turn give this house an energy rating of B.

The other side of the entrance hall leads you to the large study which could also be used as a formal dining room or snug. It too has impressive views over the rear garden and, like the rest of the house, has been prewired with ethernet connections. At the end of the entrance hall is the living room. It is the perfect contrast to the vast space of the kitchen/dining/family room, offering a cosier space - the ideal place to relax in front of the TV. The living room leads through to the orangery which has a feature skylight and floor to ceiling windows and doors which offer a full view of the rear garden, making it the perfect place to read a book or enjoy a glass of wine on a summer's evening.

The garden is something seldom seen on homes of this specification. Standing at approximately 130 feet long and completely private due to the single storey building one side and towering hedges the other, the possibilities are phenomenal. There is already a patio which borders the rear of the house and creates a natural seating area where the study is set back. Being in an area with no restrictive covenants means you could install summer houses or even a swimming pool should you wish.

A solid oak staircase which matches the internal doors leads you up to the first floor which has a gallery landing and is crying out for a feature light fitting to be hung above it. The master suite doesn't disappoint as it sits above the kitchen/dining/family room and so shares characteristics. There is a dressing room as soon as you walk in with the ensuite directly opposite. It has a walk-in shower with rainfall shower head as well as luxuries shared in all bathrooms such as white Porcelanosa sanitary ware, shaver sockets, heated towel rails and built-in mirrors with separately operated LED lighting. Thanks to the dressing area, the bedroom is a large usable space which means a grand bed can be installed. There are French doors with a glass Juliet balcony which has superb views of the garden and surrounding countryside.

The smallest bedroom is opposite the master making it suitable as a nursery, home office or even additional dressing room. The fourth bedroom is also next to the master, so the youngest children can be close by. These bedrooms are served by the impressive family bathroom which has the same fittings as the ensuite, but also has a deep bath which has been fully tiled around to create the feeling that it is sunken. It also has a separate shower cubicle.

The other side of the landing are the two other bedrooms, which you have to pass three tall windows to get to which offer views of the countryside at the front. Bedroom three is a comfortable double, whilst the second bedroom has its own ensuite making it a perfect guest room or for an older child who wants their own privacy.

The quality of this home really does need to be viewed to be appreciated and so we recommend enquiring swiftly.
