Set in an enviable position overlooking beautiful Jubilee lake, this well-kept home offers superb flexibility to suit changing family life and has a rare garage!

Why buy this home?

This townhouse is much more than just the spectacular view....

When approaching this home you'd be forgiven for forgetting you are in a new build development. The quiet, narrow road is predominantly only used by the residents of this street and so is safe for children to play on.

The entrance hall has a storage cupboard for coats and shoes, as well as a useful WC. The fourth bedroom is on the ground floor which comes in handy in the current climate where home working is more popular. The current owners show this perfectly by utilising it as a study. Just be careful not to get too distracted by the view!

The kitchen/diner is the heart of this home. Its long shape means it can easily be a family room as well so you can ensure homework is completed before everyone retires to the living room for the evening. Integrated appliances include a fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. The current owners have cleverly opened up the area under the stairs and turned it into an additional storage cupboard which would make a great pantry and free up more space in the kitchen. There are integrated ceiling speakers so you can sing along to your favourite song whilst cooking, and still keep your phone in your pocket. This makes this space a great entertaining area too, as it opens up on to the rear garden.

The garden has a low maintenance artificial lawn and a patio area with seating at the back to make the most of the evening sun. There is a shed for storage, although this could be removed if you wanted to make the seating area larger thanks to the garage which has a boarded loft which provides even more storage space. There is a driveway with parking for two cars in front of the garage.

On the first floor is the cosy living room which offers panoramic views of Jubilee Lake. You simply cannot help but stand and stare at the picturesque surroundings which are framed beautifully by the large window, giving the illusion of numerous framed pictures which offer a different perspective as you move around the room. Although not a large living room, there is space for two sofas and it has the vibe of a more relaxed space due to the kitchen/diner being much a sociable space. On this floor is also the third bedroom which is a double and currently being shared by two children to give an indicator of its size. This room is served by the family bathroom.

On the top floor is the master bedroom which has French doors with a glass Juliet balcony to stand and admire the views. It is the perfect place to sit and have a morning tea or coffee before tackling the day. There is an ensuite with a double shower and plenty of space for wardrobes, although the current owners have opted to utilise the second bedroom opposite as a dressing room. This room has two double wardrobes built in yet still has room for a double bed should you wish to use it as a bedroom. Being opposite the master it is ideal as a nursey or for a youngest child.

More about the location.....

For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. with some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown.

Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale. Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston.

Newton Leys Primary School opened in 2016 and accepts children from age 3 (nursery) to age 11 (Year 6). Many parents take advantage of the Grammar Schools in Aylesbury for Secondary education being only approximately 11 miles away.

In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Dry Cleaners, Hair Salon and a 8000 sq ft Asda. At the end of April the Turing Key pub opened its doors and has already cemented itself as the heart of the community. It is in good company as there also numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.
