Why buy this home?

Offered for sale for the first time, this detached house will appeal to all ages and lifestyles.

The entrance hall has a cupboard immediately to the right as you walk through the door making it the ideal place for coats. There is also additional storage under the stairs and a WC which has been fully tiled.

To the right of the entrance hall is the separate kitchen. Refitted in December, it has solid wood worktops and half-tiled walls. There is space for a standalone cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. For its size there is ample cupboard space, and being separate means those who like their own space whilst cooking will feel at home. From the kitchen there is a door on to the courtyard. This completely private space is perfect as an outdoor dining area and a great place to host friends and family. Alternatively, as it is next to the garage which has side access through the courtyard, it could be used as an area for hobbies.

Also off the entrance hall is the lounge/diner. This fascinating room almost makes you feel like as though you are no longer in Milton Keynes thanks to its quirky design. The dining area has a mirrored wall to create the illusion of a larger space, whilst the combination of a vaulted ceiling and tall dual aspect windows in the living area adds valuable natural light to this brilliant space. From here there is a door to the rear garden which relatively low maintenance thanks to the artificial grass, although it has the feel of a more mature garden due to the mature trees in neighbours gardens which also add privacy. The garden has another section which currently houses a large metal shed which is ideal for those who need a lot of storage. From here there is also side access to the driveway. As this area is separate, it could also be used as a dedicated area for pets if more storage wasn't required.

Downstairs is completed by the third bedroom. It has its own dressing or study area, and means older children or elderly parents can have their own private space. There is also a door on to the garden from here as well, meaning you could utilise it as another reception room should you not need three bedrooms.

Upstairs, the second bedroom benefits from built-in wardrobes, chest of drawers and a dressing table meaning only a bed is needed. The cupboard over the stairs has also been converted to another wardrobe. The corner windows are a lovely feature which make it bright and airy. The family bathroom is fully tiled and although its style may not be everyone's cup of tea, it is in superb condition meaning no rush to refurbish it. It has an overhead electric shower and glass shower screen.

The master bedroom has three double wardrobes as well as a dressing area, making it a fantastic space. It has its own modern ensuite which is fully tiled, with a walk-in shower cubicle. Adding this feature means the master bedroom can compete with the luxuries in more modern builds.

More about the location...

Bradwell is an ancient village, and now also the name of a New City grid-square including the old village. The village was adjacent to Bradwell Abbey, a Benedictine priory, founded in 1155 and dissolved in about 1540. Today, Bradwell Abbey is an Urban Studies Centre, providing a workspace, library and guidance for visiting international town planners and students who wish to study Milton Keynes. It also hosts school visits to see its medieval buildings - the chapel is Grade I listed - its fish ponds and its physic garden, and how they have changed since then. Finally it provides meeting space to local community groups.

Bradwell Bury is a moated site and the remains of an associated manor house which once formed part of a more extensive monument

Bradwell has a Non-League football team Old Bradwell United F.C. who play at Abbey Road, where there is a large sports field with a cricket pitch and several football pitches. The Old Bradwell Tennis Club is also affiliated to the Bradwell Sports and Social Club which has the use of these facilities. There is also a separate Bradwell Bowls Club which enters competitive teams in the local league.

Adjoining the sports field is the Bradwell Conservation Area, which is centered on St Lawrence's Field and is administered by the parish council as a nature conservation area.

On Vicarage Road is the Bradwell Memorial Hall, built as the village's war memorial after World War I. This is available to hire.

On Primrose Road is King George's Field in memorial to King George V with a children's play area.
