Why buy this home?

Situated on a quiet road, this home has a triangular driveway meaning you can fit up to three cars off-road.

When choosing upgrades, the current owners opted for a tiled floor throughout downstairs meaning it is quick and easy to clean. This makes it ideal for those who work long hours or pet lovers worried about muddy pawprints in the wetter months!

As you enter there is a WC on the right hand side which has plenty of space to hang coats and hide shoes away. A utility cupboard on the left houses the washing machine, meaning noise is reduced when in operation. It's also a handy space to store cleaning essentials.

The kitchen itself has white high gloss units and black granite-effect worktops. There is space for a fridge/freezer and dishwasher, as well as an integrated gas hob and electric oven. The horseshoe shape provides a natural separation between the kitchen and the living room, but the extended worktop also doubles up as a useful breakfast bar.

Being slightly longer than other styles, the main living space can comfortably fit a dining table and chairs as well as sofa and coffee table. The French doors that lead on to the garden are flanked by two windows which allow extra light into the home. The garden itself is mainly laid to lawn with a small patio area. There is also a fish pond installed and a shed which could easily be moved to the back of the driveway if you wanted to make the garden bigger.

The extra length of this house is made very obvious in the master bedroom which is a superb size - shown by the amount of wardrobe space the current owners have. The bathroom has stylish grey tiles surrounding the bath, an overhead shower with glass shower screen and a heated towel rail.

The second bedroom is a good size double with an alcove for wardrobe freeing up floor space. The current owners are cleverly using this space for a home office which is very apt in the current climate!

More about the location.....

For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. with some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown.

Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale. Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston.

Newton Leys Pavilion is now open and has daily classes such as Five Star Fitness, Badminton, Amy's Dance Academy, Zumba and Yoga. There is also a community hall and meeting rooms, making it ideal for parties and private functions.

In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Dry Cleaners, Hair Salon and a 8000 sq. ft Asda. The Turing Key pub opened its doors at the end of April 2019 and has already become the heart of the community. It is in good company as there numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.
