Why buy this home?

The 'Wayford' is a very aesthetically pleasing looking home as it is double-fronted and set over two floors. A central front door creates a welcoming entrance hall which is well lit thanks to the two full-height windows which sit either side of the door. The current owners upgraded the downstairs flooring so the entirety is laid with ceramic tiles - perfect for families thanks to its hard-wearing nature and ease of cleaning.

To the left of the entrance hall is the dining room which, unlike most, is such a good size that you could easily host the whole family. Due to its size, it could also be utilised as a snug or even a downstairs bedroom for elderly parents. To the right, you have an ever-important home office. Again, it is nice and bright and has a pleasant view over the greenery to the front of the house.

The kitchen/diner is the social hub of the home and feels very homely thanks to the classy sage shaker units and ash worktops. The integrated appliances consist of a fridge freezer and dishwasher as well as an eye-level double oven and a five-ring gas hob. There is LED lighting in the kick-boards and down-lights throughout which means you can determine the lighting level depending on your mood or occasion. The utility room off the kitchen houses the washer/dryer and has a separate door to a private side garden.

The lounge is a fantastic size giving you lots of space to arrange furniture in multiple ways. If you’re one for having family and friends over this room would allow you to host in a comfy atmosphere. French doors lead onto the garden which has trees at the back making you feel more secluded. There's a patio area for tables and chairs as well as a pergola for additional seating or an area for a hot tub if you want. The current owners have also fitted a trampoline into the ground, perfect for those with children. Lastly, there is a side gate with access to the driveway.

The first floor is home to all five double bedrooms which are accessed off a wonderful galleried landing. The master bedroom is at the front of the house so benefits from views over the lovely green area opposite. As there are triple built-in wardrobes you can treat yourself to a super-king bed as the current owners have. Naturally, the master bedroom has an ensuite with a double shower, as does the second bedroom. The second bedroom is also large enough for a super-king bed making it perfect for the eldest child or a very comfortable guest room. The remaining bedrooms all fit double beds and as there is a home office downstairs, one could be used as a snug or even walk-in wardrobe should you not need five dedicated bedrooms. These three bedrooms are all served by the family bathroom which is fully tiled around the bath with an overhead shower and glass shower screen.

More about the location.....

For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. with some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown.

Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale. Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston and Birmingham.

Primary Schooling is provided by the surrounding villages and Secondary Schooling is provided by Cottesloe in Wing or Royal Latin Grammar School in Buckingham.

In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Dry Cleaners, Hair Salon and a 8000 sq. ft Asda. At the end of April the Turing Key pub opened its doors and has already cemented itself as the heart of the community. It is in good company as there also numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.
