Harlow is one of the first New Towns to be built in England, just outside of London in the County of Essex. With its shopping and leisure complexes at The Water Gardens and The Harvey Centre, road and rail links to London, Cambridge and Stansted Airport, gives residents the best of both worlds! The commute from Harlow Town Railway Station to London Liverpool Street station is only a half hour on the fast train, which makes Harlow a great choice for people to live.
It has Britain’s first pedestrian precinct and first modern residential Tower Block along with the most number of art sculptures in any town. It’s not all New Town, you also have historic Old Harlow with its quaint High Street shops and businesses.
The highly sought after road of Little Brays is nestled in a quiet residential area with excellent amenities nearby. It is very popular with families having very good schools nearby, such as Purford Green Primary School, Little Acorns Preschool and the Passmores Academy. Working parents will be pleased to know there is also a private day care nursery just a short walk away too.
The area has a lovely feel, with a small gated Green and Playground around the corner. Another added bonus to the area, are the allotments on the other side of the road, for those of you who have green fingers.
