Why buy this home?

The first thing that strikes you about this property is you can enter through your own front door, there is enough space in the hallway to hang your coats before walking up to the living space.

There are double doors that open onto the spacious lounge, the lounge itself lends itself to a multitude of ways of having your furniture and keeping it fresh. The current owners have opted for a three seater and two seater sofa, however if you wanted to go for a corner sofa there is space to do so, and allowing space for a coffee table. There is an alcove which is the perfect space for a sideboard. In the living room there are two Juliet balconies perfect for a summer's day letting in the breeze and boasting lots of natural light.

Opposite is the kitchen diner, this room is separated by the vinyl flooring for the kitchen and carpet for the dining room and has a Juliet balcony. The kitchen is fitted with a black laminate worktop, it is partially tiled and you have ample storage including a larder cupboard. Integrated appliances include, gas hob, electric oven, washing machine, slimline dishwasher and a freestanding fridge freezer. The dining area can fit an eight seater table with a sideboard.

On the top floor of the duplex apartment, there are two double bedrooms, almost identical in size. They both have enough room for a double bed, bedside tables and free standing wardrobes. The way that you can tell the two rooms apart is that the master bedroom has its own ensuite. The second bedroom or guest room is serviced by the family bathroom. This would be ideal if someone was looking to rent.

Outside there is a communal garden and a parking space is allocated in the secured gated area.

More about the location .........

Medbourne is situated on the west side of Milton Keynes and is part of the Shenley Church End Parish Council and is adjacent to Shenley Wood. Less than a five minute walk away is Medbourne Pavilion, which has a huge green space and is used for events and activities for the local community.

There are some walks nearby and one of them is Shenley Wood, it is an excellent spot for picnics and there are a range of seats, tables and benches.  Just across the V3 Fulmer Street from the wood is Shenley Toot. This small pasture area is a scheduled ancient monument because in 1239 AD it was a moated mott and bailey castle, home to the family of Hugh Earl of Chester. The earthworks that can be seen today are probably the remains of an 18th Century manor's gardens which were also built on the site. Close by is Hazeley Wood it was planted in 1991 by The Development Corporation. The Parks Trust took over the green spaces in 1992 and continue to maintain and develop the Shenley Wood. The wood was planted with hazel, oak, beech, hornbeam and ash, and supports a large range of invertebrates and fungi. Wildflower areas have been planted around the edges and there is an ancient hedgerow which supports an array of wildlife.
