Why buy this home?

Located opposite a park on the small and exclusive Bovis development in Newton Leys, this amazing house is in show home condition.

Large ceramic tiles line the floor of the entrance hall, which flow into both the WC and kitchen/diner. Thanks to its bay window and unoverlooked frontage, the kitchen/diner is a bright and inviting space. Finished with white shaker style doors and dark wood effect worktops, the kitchen feels homely rather than the typical clinical feeling you get from high gloss units. Integrated appliances include a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as a 5-ring gas hob and eye-level electric double oven. There is space for a table without making the kitchen feel cramped.

The lounge/diner is a great size with French doors leading out to the rear garden. There is plenty of space for a 6 seater dining table without taking away space from the seating area. The decor creates a calming tone, which is a consistent feature around the home. The garden itself is relatively private for a newer style home with only a frosted bathroom window directly overlooking the garden. There is a patio area nestled at the back of the garden, raised borders and a low maintenance lawn area. A side gate leads to the driveway and garage.

The first floor is home to three bedrooms and a family bathroom. Both the second and third bedroom are very impressive sizes standing at 141 sq ft and 133 sq ft (approx) respectively - sizes you would expect from master bedrooms in most new builds. The fourth bedroom is a useable single, as shown by the current owners utilising it as both a dressing room and guest room with day bed. Bathrooms are one of Bovis Homes' best features and you can see that in the form of the luxurious deep bath with side taps, as well as the mosaic wall tiles and glass shower screen.

The top floor is dedicated solely to the master suite, providing a private space for parents who want respite from family life. Two dormer windows and a skylight, again, make this a very welcoming space, with so much room that you can utilise numerous layouts to suit your needs. Built-in mirrored wardrobes provide storage as well as a further fitted wardrobe and chest of drawers the owners had installed to maximise the space in the eaves. The current owners also have a dressing area in this room, showing its impressive size once again. The ensuite has the same luxuries as the bathroom, but instead as a double shower cubicle tastefully lined from floor to ceiling with white tiles.

More about the location.....

For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. with some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown.

Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale. Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston and Birmingham.

Primary Schooling is provided by the surrounding villages and Secondary Schooling is provided by Cottesloe in Wing or Royal Latin Grammar School in Buckingham.

In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Dry Cleaners, Hair Salon and a 8000 sq. ft Asda. At the end of April the Turing Key pub opened its doors and has already cemented itself as the heart of the community. It is in good company as there also numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.
