Why buy this home?

Nestled down a quiet side road, this much improved home has a gated driveway for two cars.

A traditional layout means you have a welcoming entrance hall, which is laid with light laminate flooring. There is a WC on the right hand side, with the kitchen door opposite.

The separate kitchen means cooking smells and mess can be kept at bay rather than in full view! There is space for a dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer, as well as having a fitted gas hob and electric oven. Clever blackboard paint has been used on the main wall so shopping lists and meal plans can be shared for everyone to see. The black tiled floor also means any spillages can be easily cleaned up.

The L-shaped living room has enough space for a dining table and sofa without feeling too 'cosy'. The current owners have done a brilliant job in decorating this room so it feels modern yet welcoming at the same time. There is a large understairs storage cupboard which is a relief as modern homes are typically not renowned for their storage. French doors lead to the rear garden which has an extended patio and artificial grass, saving hours of maintenance in the summer. There is side access to the gated driveway which can fit two cars.

The master bedroom has an alcove for wardrobes, as well as a useful ensuite. The second bedroom is a good size and can fit a double bed. This room is ideal as a guest room/home office or child's bedroom. The third bedroom is a single, and the current owners have treated themselves to a dressing room. Again, this could also be used as a home office if necessary.

The bathroom is a dedicated bathroom with no shower due to the ensuite. It's makes this the perfect space to unwind after a long day at work.

More about the location.....

For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. with some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown.

Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale. Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston and Birmingham.

Newton Leys Primary School opened in 2016 and accepts children from age 3 (nursery) to age 11 (Year 6). Many parents take advantage of the Grammar Schools in Aylesbury for Secondary education being only approximately 11 miles away.

In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Dry Cleaners, Hair Salon and a 8000 sq. ft Asda. In April 2019 the Turing Key pub opened its doors and has already cemented itself as the heart of the community. It is in good company as there also numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.
