Why buy this home?

Built in 2016 by Taylor Wimpey, this two bedroom house has been designed for modern living. The open-plan downstairs means that as soon as you enter you get a sense of the space. A floor to ceiling window next to the front door cleverly allows light to enter the space ensuring it is bright and airy.

As you enter there is a WC on the left hand side which has plenty of space to hang coats and hide shoes away. A utility cupboard on the right houses the washing machine, meaning noise is reduced when in operation. It's also a handy space to store cleaning essentials.

The kitchen itself has white high gloss units and grey worktops. There is an integratedd fridge/freezer as well as a gas hob and electric oven. The horseshoe shape provides a natural separation between the kitchen and the living room, but the extended worktop also doubles up as a useful breakfast bar.

The main living space is a comfortable size, with room under the stairs for a small table and chairs meaning no need for dinner in front of the TV! A rear door leads on to the garden which has both a patio and lawn area ideal for BBQ's and social gatherings, without being too large to maintain.

Upstairs are two good sized double bedrooms. The master bedroom has ample space for numerous wardrobes. The bathroom has stylish grey tiles surrounding the bath, an overhead shower with glass shower screen and a heated towel rail.

The second bedroom is a good size double with an alcove for wardrobe freeing up floor space. This makes it ideal for a friend to stay, home office, dressing room or guest room. Parking is provided by a driveway for two cars, but there is also ample communal parking available as well.

The Housing Association for this beautiful house is Catalyst Housing who have a requirement that your household income must be at least £39,527 per annum (this can be reduced if you have low outgoing commitments), you must have at least a 10% deposit, you can not own any other property and cannot have outstanding credit issues (CCJ's etc) to be eligible for a shared ownership property. More about the location.....

For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. with some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown.

Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale. Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston.

Newton Leys Pavilion is now open and has daily classes such as Five Star Fitness, Badminton, Amy's Dance Academy, Zumba and Yoga. There is also a community hall and meeting rooms, making it ideal for parties and private functions.

In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Dry Cleaners, Hair Salon and a 8000 sq. ft Asda. The Turing Key pub opened its doors at the end of April 2019 and has already become the heart of the community. It is in good company as there numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.
