An absolutely stunning traditional family home with generous room sizes on a corner plot of a private road.

Why buy this home?

It's rare to find a home that has the best of modern living along with features you'd only expect to find in a character property. This is the first thing that strikes you as you approach this imposing house thanks to its bay windows with sash style double glazing.

An entrance hall can set your mood when entering a home and a window at the end of this one not only provides an immediate view of the garden, but allows natural light in making it a bright and inviting space.

Natural light is a common theme throughout this home due to its numerous windows on all aspects. The living room is a very comfortable size and its shape makes it easy to have enough furniture to for the whole family. Double doors lead to the rear garden from both here and the kitchen/breakfast room. The garden is low maintenance thanks to the composite decking and artificial grass. It is south-west facing meaning it captures the sun the majority of the day and also has a convenience door to the garage which also has light and power.

The kitchen itself is the real heart of this home and the main reason the current owners bought this house after falling in love when seeing the show home. It's easily big enough for a dining table and additional seating area, making it the perfect place to catch up with the family over breakfast and dinner. Grey ceramic floor tiles are tastefully offset against sleek white high gloss units and natural wood effect worktops. Integrated appliances include a dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer along with a gas hob, electric double oven and microwave.

Having an additional reception room adds another dimension and means you home can grow as your family does. Whether it's used as a generous study, formal dining room, playroom or snug, it's a feature you'll struggle to live without once you've had it. Downstairs is completed by a WC and under stairs storage cupboard.

On the first floor are four double bedrooms. The master has its own mini entrance hall and has been designed so you can have your wardrobes here, meaning you can treat yourself to large bed. There is also enough space for a chest of drawers with the TV point being here too. There is an ensuite with a double shower.

The second bedroom is big enough to allow the eldest child to have their own space. Being the opposite side of the house to the master gives privacy that teens crave, and the width means a seating area could fit as well as bedroom furniture. The third bedroom is relatively square in shape and a lovely space for a younger child to call their own.

The fourth bedroom is being used as a dressing room and home office by the current owners which is a testament to its useable size. There is also a built in wardrobe which is over the stairs. These bedrooms are served by the family bathroom which is fully tiled around the bath, has an overhead shower and glass shower screen.

Parking is provided by a garage and all-important side by side parking spaces meaning no need to juggle cars. There is also ample communal parking available.

Please note that the second bedroom has been virtually furnished.

More about the location.....

For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. with some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown.

Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale. Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston and Birmingham.

Newton Leys Primary School opened in 2016 and accepts children from age 3 (nursery) to age 11 (Year 6). Many parents take advantage of the Grammar Schools in Aylesbury for Secondary education being only approximately 11 miles away.

In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Dry Cleaners, Hair Salon and a 8000 sq. ft Asda. At the end of April the Turing Key pub opened its doors and has already cemented itself as the heart of the community. It is in good company as there also numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.
