This family home was built by Bovis Homes in 2016 and not only benefits from superb bedroom sizes and a flexible layout, but it is also in the catchment for the renowned Royal Latin Grammar School in Buckingham.

Why buy this home?

Bovis Homes are known for their high quality finish, meaning that luxuries like ceramic tiles were included as standard rather than being an optional upgrade.

Set back from the main road and overlooking a park, this lovely home benefits from lots of natural light due to its unobstructed views.

You enter via a central entrance hall with the WC immediately on your left. This clever room doubles up as a mini utility room thanks to the integrated washing machine and worksurfaces. The remainder of the downstairs is dedicated to a kitchen/family/dining room which shows the flexibilty of this wonderful home. Being the heart of the house, this room is open-plan making it a very social space for the family to regroup over dinner. Integrated appliances include a dishwasher and fridge freezer, which are hidden behind the modern white high-gloss doors. There is also a double oven and 5 ring gas hob. The kitchen is set off nicely with a wood effect worktop and natural ceramic tiled floor.

French doors lead out on to the south-facing low maintenance rear garden. Parking is accessed through the rear of the property in the form of two carports, one of which has had a garage door fitted.

On the first floor there is a large room which can be used as a second reception room or as a very large fourth bedroom. There is a Juliet balcony to the double doors which are ideal to allow air in and out of the room. The third bedroom is also on this floor which is a good size single. Both these rooms are served by the family bathroom. Bathrooms are one of Bovis Homes' best features and you can see that in the form of the luxurious deep bath with side taps, as well as the ceramic tiles, glass shower screen and floating toilet.

The top floor houses the master bedroom which is a great space for parents who want their own privacy. With built-in wardrobes and an alcove for wardrobes, there is a lot of useable floor space for a big bed and bedside tables without feeling cramped. The ensuite has the same luxuries as the bathroom, but instead has a double shower cubicle tastefully lined from floor to ceiling with neutral tiles. The second bedroom is a big double with views over the park at the front.

More about the location.....

For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. with some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown.

Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale. Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston and Birmingham.

Primary Schooling is provided by the surrounding villages and Secondary Schooling is provided by Cottesloe in Wing or Royal Latin Grammar School in Buckingham. Some parents also chose to apply for the Aylesbury Grammar Schools.

In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Dry Cleaners, Hair Salon and a 8000 sq. ft Asda. At the end of April the Turing Key pub opened its doors and has already cemented itself as the heart of the community. It is in good company as there also numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.
