Why buy this home?

Located down a quiet side street of just 17 houses, this stunning home offers the flexibility needed for ever-changing family life.

The standout feature is the kitchen/breakfast room, with its beautifully tiled floor. Stretching the length of the house and standing at over 11 feet wide, it is the perfect sociable space for family and friends. "A big kitchen was always on our wish list, it's an absolute must if you have a family". The designated dining area is large enough for a 6-8 person table, and the overhanging worktop on the central unit means it doubles up as a breakfast bar for those quick morning pitstops! A central island has also been installed to provide even more storage and worksurface space. A separate utility room and WC ensures that the kitchen can still be used to entertain even when the washing machine is in use.

The living room has been designed so it can be enjoyed all year round. The bi-fold doors open up to a decked area of the rear garden, extending the room in summer months and creating a great entertaining space. Whilst the underfloor heating creates a cosy luxury in the colder months when snuggling up to watch a film.

As the first floor has three bedrooms, with a further two on the top floor, it can be laid out to provide further reception rooms if five bedrooms aren't needed. The current owners are using the second bedroom as their main bedroom. It's easy to see why when it's the same size as the living room meaning an extremely comfortable room with your own living space. The room could easily be a second living room or an ideal space for a teenager to make their own.

The fifth bedroom is being used as a nursery and is a good sized single bedroom. It could easily be utilised as a home office, and is also big enough for a double bed should you wish to have a guest room. The third bedroom has an alcove for wardrobes freeing up floorspace, and a walk-in wardrobe which sits behind the stairs that lead up to the second floor. Due to its size and storage, it's perfect for children with lots of toys! A family bathroom serves all three bedrooms on this floor. It is fully tiled around the bath and has an overhead shower as well as an all-important window.

The second floor offers more flexibility still. The current owners are utilising this as a guest floor due to its privacy and cosy feel being in the eaves. The original master bedroom has an ensuite and the fourth bedroom is a good sized double. This could easily be used as a dressing room to the master, or a home office/living space if you wanted privacy away from the hustle and bustle of family life.

In our opinion the rear garden is a very good size for a new style of home. In keeping with the design of the rest of the house, it is stylish and functionable with its raised boarders, yet low maintenance with its decked area and easy to mow lawn. Off road parking is available at the front of the house and there are also communal parking bays on the street.

More about the location.....

For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. with some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown.

Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale. Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston and Birmingham.

Newton Leys Primary School opened in 2016 and accepts children from age 3 (nursery) to age 11 (Year 6). Many parents take advantage of the Grammar Schools in Aylesbury for Secondary education being only approximately 11 miles away.

In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Dry Cleaners, Hair Salon and a 8000 sq. ft Asda. At the end of April the Turing Key pub opened its doors and has already cemented itself as the heart of the community. It is in good company as there also numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.
