Why buy this home?

Buying your first home often leads to the predicament of 'house vs apartment'. Whilst the former has the benefit of a garden for those summer days, the latter is often designed for modern living with an appealing open-plan living space that offers more useable space. Luckily, this wonderful home has the best of both worlds....

"This is the perfect starter home in the perfect location". This is no coincidence as the development was designed with working professionals in mind, balancing superb transport links with a peace surroundings to help you unwind after a long day at work.

The open-plan living area stands at an impressive 25 feet long (approx) which means plenty of space for a comfortable sofa and dining table. French doors lead out to the low maintenance rear garden that has a grassed area as well as patio. There is also rear access meaning your wheelie bins can be stored in the garden but don't need to be wheeled through the house!

The modern kitchen has integrated appliances including a '50/50' fridge/freezer, washing machine, electric oven and gas hob. There is also an additional space which currently houses a tumble/dryer, but does have plumbing for a dishwasher. The downstairs is completed by a useful WC which is located in the entrance hall, which itself can be conveniently closed off from the main living space giving you somewhere to hang coats etc.

The master bedroom is a comfortable size with a double built-in wardrobe and dressing table. In our opinion, the second bedroom is a great size that can easily fit a double bed, bedside tables and wardrobe.

Finally, the family bathroom is tastefully fully tiled around the bath with grey tiles. It benefits from an overhead shower and heated towel rail to warm up your towels on those cold winter mornings!

Whilst parking can sometimes be a concern on a new development, there is no need to worry as this home has two side-by-side parking spaces meaning no juggling of cars!

"I think the thing we will miss the most is the convenience and the community. There's everything you need within walking distance, including a great Fish & Chip Shop and a superb new pub. Everyone helps everyone out here as well without neighbours being too overbearing. It's been an amazing place to call out first home, it's just a shame we have outgrown it now!"

It is important to note that this houses falls under the highly desirable Aylesbury Vale section of Newton Leys, meaning it benefits from school catchments for the surrounding villages.

More about the location.....

For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. with some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown.

Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale. Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston.

Newton Leys Pavilion is now open and has daily classes such as Five Star Fitness, Badminton, Amy's Dance Academy, Zumba and Yoga. There is also a community hall and meeting rooms, making it ideal for parties and private functions.

In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Dry Cleaners, Hair Salon and a 8000 sq. ft Asda. The Turing Key pub has just opened its doors, and is in good company as there numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.
