Why buy this home?

A problem with modern apartments is that the open-plan living room/kitchen can make you feel like you spend all your time in one room. That's why the current owners chose this style of apartment out of the various styles available...

"My favourite feature about the kitchen is the amount of storage we have". She isn't joking. 18 cupboards and 4 drawers to be precise. That's what makes this apartment stand out over others. Whilst still open-plan to the living room, there is an extra wall creating a horseshoe shape which not only provides extra space for cupboards and worksurfaces, but also the feeling of two separate rooms. Not only that, but it also helps block noise from the integrated dishwasher and washer/dryer.

The living area stands at an impressive 171 sq.ft (approx) which means plenty of space for a comfortable sofa and dining table should you wish. Although on the ground floor, the apartment sits slightly higher than the road, meaning that not only do you benefit from a lack of stairs but also don't have people walking past your window.

Storage is usually at a premium in modern apartments so you'll be pleased to learn that that is not only one but two storage cupboards. One is extremely large with plenty of room for all everything you don't want on display! It could even be utilised as a walk-in wardrobe with the simple addition of two hanging rails.

The master bedroom is a comfortable size with a TV point and plenty of room for a wardrobe and bedside tables. The second bedroom is smaller size that can still fit a double bed, or be used as an extremely comfortable single bedroom.

Finally, the family bathroom is tastefully fully tiled around the bath with grey tiles. It benefits from an overhead shower and radiator to warm up your towels on those cold winter mornings!

Whilst there are numerous apartments in Newton Leys to choose from, few have a covered carport as opposed to a parking space which is a brilliant feature of this property. There is also a secure bike storage and bin shed.

"I think the thing we will miss the most is not being next to my amazing neighbours; all of them in the block are so lovely and friendly. We'll also miss the feeling of being in the countryside. There's a great footpath around the back that leads to the lake and it's so beautiful in the Summer".

This beautiful apartment is priced to sell so send your enquiry in early to avoid disappointment!

More about the location.....

For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. with some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown.

Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale. Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston.

Newton Leys Pavilion is now open and has daily classes such as Five Star Fitness, Badminton, Amy's Dance Academy, Zumba and Yoga. There is also a community hall and meeting rooms, making it ideal for parties and private functions.

In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Dry Cleaners, Hair Salon and a 8000 sq. ft Asda. The Turing Key pub has just opened its doors, and is in good company as there numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.
