Why buy this home?

This wonderful property has an abundance of light thanks to its six windows over three aspects. Being top floor, there are unobstructed views and total privacy. "Being on the top floor means I'm not overlooked by anyone (often the one downside to living in a new estate), so in the evenings I have complete privacy when I want to relax after work".

Even though it's a one bedroom apartment, there is comfortably enough space for two people to live without feeling on top of each other. "I love cooking and entertaining guests, and the open-plan kitchen/living room layout means I can chat to my guests while preparing drinks and appetisers for them. I opted to upgrade my kitchen when I bought the flat, and the downlights really add atmosphere!". Other feature of the upgraded kitchen are integrated appliances including a fridge/freezer (with small storage space above), a washing machine and slimline dishwasher. A gas hob and double electric oven are ideal for budding chefs to show off their skills, or for a novice to hone their skills. Finished in stylish high gloss units and ash wood-effect worktops, this modern kitchen is pride of place as the heart of this home.

Storage is usually at a premium in modern apartments, so you will be pleased to hear that there is not only one but two storage cupboards in the hallway.

The bedroom is light and airy due to double aspect windows and again benefits from a multitude of power sockets as well as a TV point for those days when you just want to get home from work and watch a film in bed!

A well-proportioned bathroom completes this perfect starter home. Fully tiled around the bath with textured stone tiles, the glass shower screen also keeps the spray from the powerful overhead shower at bay! "I couldn't live anywhere where the shower isn't up to standard!".

Allocated parking for one car and a secure bike store mean you can take advantage of the beautiful green spaces and canal pathways to the surrounding villages.

"I wanted to be in near to Milton Keynes for work and the amenities like the entertainment hubs but far enough out for a quiet downtime when I wanted it!". Being located on the north side of Newton Leys means you are within walking distance to the shopping district, new pub and pavilion. "The local Asda is a life saver; having somewhere right on your doorstep makes all the difference. The nearby lake is my favourite spot for a BBQ, and the community is such a strong one, you literally could ask anyone for a hand and they'll offer you their help. I've met some great people here and I will certainly miss the community feel Newton Leys has".

More about the location.....

For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. with some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown.

Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale. Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston.

Newton Leys Pavilion is now open and has daily classes such as Five Star Fitness, Badminton, Amy's Dance Academy, Zumba and Yoga. There is also a community hall and meeting rooms, making it ideal for parties and private functions.

In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Dry Cleaners, Hair Salon and a 8000 sq. ft Asda. The Turing Key pub opened its doors at the end of April and has already become the heart of the community. It is in good company as there numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.
