Are you sacrificing the things that are most important to you for your career? Today I am talking about why you should prioritize the things you love first.
If you have been watching my videos over recent times, you'll know that our culture is about sharing great learnings. Today I want to share a great learning that I personally have had over the last 10 days.
Are you one of those people, and I certainly was for a period of time there, where every direction you look in, you just have too much to do? You may sacrifice your training, your family time, your date night, etc. These are the things that I was sacrificing myself.
The theory Keller Williams teaches is that you should book in the priorities in your life first. Book in the people you love and care about and the things you would love to do. For example, training, exercise, or spending time with your friends. Book those things in first and then you allow the time for your business with what you have left in your calendar.
"Book in the people you love and care about and the things you would love to do first."
I was doing it the other way around for a few weeks by spending all of my time at work and sacrificing those really important things that frankly make it all worthwhile.
Now, I am doing this instead. Time block the stuff that is important to you and ask yourself if your calendar reflects the things that are most important to you.
If you would like to talk to me further about this idea, please do not hesitate to contact me for the details. I look forward to speaking with you soon.
